CBA Joint Trade Comment Letter on the Bureau’s proposal to temporarily delay the effective date of the remittance rules
Dear Ms. Jackson:
The Clearing House Association L.L.C., the American Bankers Association, the Consumer
Bankers Association, The Financial Services Roundtable, the Independent Community Bankers of
America, NACHA – The Electronic Payments Association, and the National Association of Federal
Credit Unions (collectively, the “Associations”) respectfully submit to the Bureau of Consumer
Financial Protection (“the Bureau”) this comment letter regarding the Bureau’s proposal to
temporarily delay the effective date of the rules issued to implement Section 1073 of the Dodd-
Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (“Final Rule”).
