Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) President and CEO Lindsey Johnson today released the following statement recognizing 103 bankers who graduated from CBA’s Executive Banking School, the premier advanced educational program for future leaders in retail banking:

“Congratulations to the CBA Executive Banking School Class of 2023, honors graduates, and Tem Wooldridge Award recipient Mark Salatino from U.S. Bank. Over the course of three years, these bankers have sacrificed time away from their personal and professional lives to grow their skillset and develop the financial acumen necessary to successfully serve as future bank leaders. CBA is also especially grateful for the investment made by our members to support EBS year after year. Their commitment to develop a robust talent pipeline will help to ensure America’s leading banks operate from a position of strength for decades to come.”

The 2023 Tem Wooldridge Award Winner

During Tuesday’s graduation ceremony, Mark Salatino from U.S. Bank was named this year’s Tem Wooldridge Award. Established in 2002 to honor long-time faculty member, Tem Leslie Wooldridge, this award recognizes the top EBS student each year who demonstrates outstanding academic performance, high integrity, and a strong work ethic. In addition to academic merit, Tem Wooldridge Award winners possess the necessary character and leadership skills to bring out the best in their teammates. Award winners are selected by EBS faculty, with input from senior class peers.
