BIO

Ross Carey joined U.S. Bank in 1991 and this year is celebrating 25 years with the Bank.  As Executive Vice President and Business Banking Division head, he has responsibility for U.S. Bank Business Banking personnel throughout the bank’s metropolitan footprint.  In addition, all Small Business Administration (SBA) and Practice Finance sales teams report under his leadership and support all aspects of SBA and Practice Finance Lending for the entire organization. 

 

Just prior to this role, Ross had responsibility for all retail branches in the Western States Division.  He has also previously served U.S. Bank as Region President in the Community Banking group and Regional Manager in the Northern California market.

 

Carey serves on the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) Board as the Immediate Past Chair, and previously as Chair on the Government Relations Council.  He is active in the Oregon Market community with service in Salem through his work with the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce as Past President.  He is also the Past President of Family Building Blocks, a relief nursery, and on the Board as past Chair of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon.

 

Carey attended the University of Oregon and holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree.  Carey has been married to his wife, Suzanne, for 24 years and they have two grown children: Theresa and Joseph.
