Jae Schroeder, PhD

Vice President, Director, Executive Banking School

Jae Schroeder is Vice President, Director of Executive Banking School (EBS) at the Consumer Bankers Association.  He is responsible for supporting and managing the faculty and the curriculum of the Executive Banking School.  Additionally, he serves as a liaison for CBA’s Talent Management Committee (TMC), where he supports its members by facilitating relationships and value-driven interactions around talent management issues and best practices. 


Jae came to CBA from TD Ameritrade (acquired by Charles Schwab in 2020), where he worked for over 15 years as a FINRA-licensed workplace learning professional supporting the retail service and sales organization.  He led multiple teams on some of the firm’s most significant Agile and change management initiatives, such as multi-billion dollar product launches and enterprise-wide system installations and reboots.  Recognized as a thought leader and motivational speaker at TD Ameritrade, he’s spoken at numerous local and enterprise-wide expos and conferences to drive desired mindsets and behaviors for both leaders and associates.


Before working for TD Ameritrade, Jae worked as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Brigham Young University and a Masters of Science degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from Utah State University.  He is also a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance or CPLP and a Certified Scrum Master or CSM.  Jae received a Ph.D. in Workplace Learning and Performance from the University of North Texas, with a minor in Statistics.
