CBA Announces New Head of Congressional Affairs

Washington, D.C. (December 4, 2013) – Today, the Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) is pleased to announce Reagan Anderson will be joining the team as Head of Congressional Affairs effective January 13, 2014. In that capacity she will also serve as a member of the management team. Most recently, she served as Vice President, Government Affairs for NYSE Euronext.

“I have known Reagan since the beginning of her career at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta through to the NYSE where she has excelled at each entity. She is politically astute, legislatively savvy and she will be a terrific addition to our strong advocacy team,” said Richard Hunt, president and CEO of CBA.

Ms. Anderson brings extensive Capitol Hill, association and corporate experience that will serve CBA well as it enters its next phase of growth. Previously she has held positions as Associate Vice President, Government Affairs for the Private Equity Growth Capital Council, Director, Government and Industry Relations for Fannie Mae, and as a Legislative Assistant for Sen. Mel Martinez (R-FL), in his role as a member of the Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee. Ms. Anderson is a graduate of Ohio University.
