CBA Statement on Acting Comptroller Brooks

 

WASHINGTON – Consumer Bankers Association President and CEO Richard Hunt issued the following statement after Acting Comptroller Brian Brooks announced today would be his last day at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and OCC Chief Operating Officer Blake Paulson would assume the role of Acting Comptroller:

 

“We would like to thank Acting Comptroller Brooks for his service and dedication to ensuring our nation’s well-regulated banking system continues to serve all consumers. In this important position, he worked to advance the conversation about how financial institutions operate for consumers in an ever-evolving digital age. 

 

“We look forward to working with incoming Acting Comptroller Paulson as well as President-elect Biden’s nominee for this key regulator.”
