One of LinkedIn's Top Voices to follow for finance in 2022, Joseph Mayans is the Director of US Economics at Experian. In this role, Joseph breaks down the latest economic and consumer credit trends into actionable insights for the financial services industry to help businesses find opportunities and navigate the risks of the business cycle.

Joseph previously led macroeconomic research at Zions Bank and produced the bank’s public-facing economic content for its branches throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming and was the founder and principal economist of Advantage Economics, LLC. Prior to his work as an economist, Joseph served as legislative staff for US Senator Jerry Moran (KS) where he specialized in financial services, small business, and technology policy.

Joseph is also a member of Zillow’s Home Price Expectations Panel, Bankrate’s Economic Survey Panel, and holds a master’s degree in economics from Wichita State University in Kansas.
