BIO

Larry Lee is Senior Counsel in the Office of Regulations at CFPB and a member of the rulemaking team for the small business lending rule, implementing section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act. He has also worked on rulemakings concerning arbitration and payday lending, as well as projects related to auto lending, ECOA, TILA, and UDAAPs.  Larry spent two years in Card Markets at CFPB.  Before CFPB, Larry practiced law in New York, focusing on commercial litigation, international arbitration, and white collar/FCPA work.  He graduated from NYU Law School, and clerked for federal district and appellate judges.  Before law school, Larry worked at Lehman Brothers, in financial sponsors investment banking and internal corporate strategy.
